Café Kultur in Germany handcrafts the TORR espresso tampers using only premium raw materials for an absolutely food-safe and eco-friendly product. The tamper design is simple, functional, well balanced, and fits as many different hands as possible.
The TORR espresso tampers are available with handles in five different woods, as well as aluminum, and two piston sizes (with straight-walled, soft convex-bottoms): Zebra Wood, Palisander Wood, Violet Wood, African Blackwood, Makassar Ebony, Nero Matte, Rosso Macchiato.
Each tamper is handcrafted with attention to detail in numerous manual steps that results in a first-class fit and finish. To feel comfortable in the hand, the wood handles are sanded and polished to produce a smooth, lustrous surface. The matte black coating on the aluminum handles is very comfortable to the touch. The steel pistons are finished with a satin, soft-brushed surface that resists fingerprints and smudges.
