The Sassafras wood is ethically sourced from decommissioned Chinese junks that have plied their trade on the East China Sea for centuries. The exposure to the elements has created a unique texture to the wood that enhances the overall design. The curved profile of the stainless steel contrast with the texture and finish on the wood.

Each item unique, thus cracks, imperfections, wear and colour variations part of character. Timber movement will occur as it is a natural product.
