Just in time for the holidays (guests, anyone?), Alder & Co. has come out with a coat rack commissioned from furniture designer Julian Paul (see Furniture: Julian Paul in Portland, OR). Made from reclaimed oak and railroad spikes that Paul found on a recent fishing trip, the limited-edition racks are available in two sizes: The Small Coat Rack has three spikes ($115) and the Large Coat Rack has four ($130).
