The iconic Danish company Republic of Fritz Hansen opens its first retail store in the US on Friday, March 26th, in Soho. Located at 22 Wooster Street, the shop is only their second retail venture worldwide. Founded in 1872, Fritz Hansen introduced pieces by Hans Wegner and Borge Mogensen before entering into collaboration with Arne Jacobsen, which resulted in such iconic pieces as the Series 7 chair, the Swan, and the Egg.
