With impeccable market timing, Marie-France Cohen, the founder of children's clothing line Bonpoint, has launched a new charitable retail concept. Housed in a former factory, the store is called Merci and stocks furniture, fashion items, and other pieces for the home donated by designers. Customers can fill their own bottles with perfume from Annick Goutal, or have a coffee in the used-book café; all profits from the venture go to a children's charity in Madagascar. this place really is as fabulous as it looks in the pictures! we took a day trip to paris on the eurostar last weekend and it was on my list of places to visit after reading this post. the bambina is seriously cute and the shop is full of marvellous goodies. thanks for sharing!

I visited Paris for 5 days to see my youngest daughter who is living there for 4 months. One morning we had a "petite déjeuner" there - I just love this concept store!!!
