Located in antiques-centric Hudson, New York, Henry is a shop run by artist and Bard sculpture teacher Nancy Shaver, who chooses objects for "their visual qualities, color, shape, form, texture," she says. "All are singular and chosen for decorative purposes, with the belief that almost anything can be decorative in a specific setting."
N.B. The recently released book Henry at Home, from Sobercove Press ($20), presents photographs of objects from Henry as they appear in the homes of the people who purchased them as well as artwork by Shaver.
