On our dreamed-of destination list: the Pensao Favorita, featuring a low-key bohemian ambiance.

Discovered via Yatzer, the Pensao Favorita is located in Porto, the Portuguese capital of the north, known for its wineries and cuisine. The interiors, by French designer Sam Baron, feature an assemblage of vintage pieces mixed with modern furniture, and the hotel's structural transformation was orchestrated by local architect Nuno Sottomayor.
