I like the clean, no-nonsense look of The Captain Hook from Misewell Modern, a Milwaukee-based furniture company that won the Editors Award for best new designer at last week's ICFF. "An innovative stamping process creates little waste by producing nearly 300 hooks from a single 4-by-8-foot sheet of steel," according to the company. Measuring 5 by 3 by 1.5 inches, the Captain Hook can support oversize towels, robes, and coats. Available in cream, black, gray, or tomato; $22 each through Misewell.

This innovative stamping process, I assume, brings cost down quite a bit, and yet, it's $22 a hook? Is that right?
