Furniture: Verner Panton Bachelor Chair

Charlotte Skene-Catling used Verner Panton's Bachelor Chair, designed in 1955 for Fritz Hansen, in her Dairy House. The Danish designer is better known for his molded polypropylene Panton Chair for Vitra, but we prefer this steel tubing and suede number (also available in canvas).
A pair of Bachelor Chairs made of fabric and steel tubing is currently on offer on eBay, starting at $875; others can currently be found at antique shops like Eric Appel Antiques.
