New at Design Within Reach: one of the most perfect tables we’ve seen (and a new entry on our wish list), the Tondern Dining Table, inspired by Danish master Hans Wegner. Made of walnut and oak (a classic Wegner touch, mixing woods) with brass trestle hardware, the Tondern Dining Table is 78 inches wide, 29 inches high, and 34 inches deep; $2,500 at DWR.

N.B. DWR just moved its Mix and Match Dining Furniture Sale up a week; it now starts Saturday, September 5.  Buy a combination of four or more select dining chairs, stools, credenzas, and tables and get a 15 percent discount (good news: the Tondern Table is included).
