Fixtures & Fittings: Lever Handle by Gio Ponti
Issue 8 · LA Midcentury · February 21, 2011
Italian architect Gio Ponti designed the graceful Pirelli Tower in Milan in 1956; among the details was this slender Door Lever, which "succinctly embodies his refined aesthetic." The lever (plus a companion bathroom turn) is available from UK-based company Izé, a manufacturer of fixtures and fittings designed by architects ranging from David Adjaye to Walter Gropius.
