From Allison
Founded by sisters Jennifer and Sarah Pearsall and designer Michelle Sheppard, Sefte Living is a new addition to the textile scene, offering hand-embroidered and hand-crocheted bedding, throws, and pillows. Working with artisans in the Siwa Oasis of Egypt and the High Andes of Peru, Sefte Living produces bedding "using luxurious textiles that are both socially and environmentally sound. Each piece is hand-finished with exquisite quality and detailing." The duo recently opened a flagship store in Ibiza, Spain; in the US, their products are available at Erica Tanov in San Francisco and Stella in Manhattan. Prices start at $255 for a bolster pillow.
N.B. Erica Tanov is hosting a Sefte Living Trunk Show (with 20 percent off the line) on Thursday, November 19, at her San Francisco store at 2408 Fillmore Street from 5 to 8 pm; food and drink will be served.
