Dressed-Up Dressers

February 4, 2007

As a Seattle native, I’ve long been an admirer of artist and furniture maker Roy McMakin. His dressers in particular are a great way to add a bit of whimsy–and a dash of color–to a child’s room. Plus, it’s easy to replicate: take one classic wood dresser, choose two or three complimentary paint colors, and boldly go forth. To see more Roy McMakin pieces, go to Domestic Furniture.
