Designer Visit: Simen Aarseth in Oslo
Issue 35 · Danish Living · August 30, 2011
Simen Aarseth works as a product designer and interior architect in Oslo; after completing his masters degree in 2010, he set up his own studio and is collaborating with other designers. His aim is to "incorporate complex ideas into simple and practical solutions." The up-and-coming Norwegian product designer's Puck Table was recently picked up by the British company Benchmark (they showed it at the 2011 Salone Mobile in Milan). We also like Aarseth's other work; to see more, go to Simen Aarseth.

Above: The Puck Side Table is available in solid oak or walnut with a timber or lacquered top; the small size is £195 and the larger is £225, directly from Benchmark.

Above: Micro Garden, shelving that accommodates plants as they grow.

Above: Tripod Table, where drawer meets side table.

Above: Steel Mirror made for AWAA (Aarseth's collaboration with fellow Nord designers, Angell and Wyler).
