We like these Scandinavian-inspired bedrooms, with simple wood walls doing double duty as headboards.

The different wood tones really add a softness to all these rooms. Beautiful!!
I love the idea of a wood accent wall. It really warms up the room, and offers some great texture. I still think several of these beds need actual headboards, the beds just look incomplete without them. The two with the built-in night stands seem to work better, as does the last image, which I would say IS actually a headboard. Beautiful idea, nonetheless.

Love that idea of a wall as a headboard. Think it could be cute in a kids' room too to tie together a theme and their beds (visually)
