Architect Visit: Qb3 Hoeber Loft in Philadelphia by Julie

Issue 18 · Shaker Style · May 7, 2009

Based in Philadelphia, Qb3 Design is a trio of architects who are "equally devoted to the merging disciplines of architecture, graphic design, and product development." Their rigorously minimal Hoeber loft in Philadelphia has an industrial, library-like feel, with banks of bookshelves defining the living areas and heating ducts crisscrossing the ceilings. We especially like the mix of Old World antiques with modernist pieces such as the Tizio Lamp and the black leather Eames Lounge and Ottoman (available from YLighting and DWR, respectively).
