An alternative to the standard knob: the leather cabinet pull.

We especially like these simple leather pulls from Nu Interieur Ontwerp, a Dutch interior design firm that also sells a line of products. Designers Tessa Weerdenburg and Nathalie French offer the pulls in two different sizes; there is also a custom-stitched version.
