I tend to be careless about laundry. I would prefer a laundry bin that enables me to just toss dirty clothes in. The fewer the motions the better. Trashcans that have foot presses that pop off the tops are great for trash. Too bad these can't be used for laundry.
For esthetics--The Savannah Divided Hamper--looks best to me.
Or you can design your own like I did after not finding anything I liked on the market.
Use the Elfa (Container Store) silver rack, and silver mesh drawers, and the butcher block top, customizing to your individual needs. The mesh drawers allow for plenty of air-flow, look great, hide the clothes, and can be easily carried when necessary.
