We have a Vermont soapstone sink -- not the Wright, but the single-piece-handcarved one. LOVE it. (they gave it to us for the same price after glancing at my very-pregnant belly and seeing our licence plate...from Canada).
A very spacious and nice design sinks. We used to have marble sinks but recently during the refurbishment, we have also changed to stainless steel sink which is very nice comparatively.
We have a large rectangular stainless sink with square corners. While I like the look of it, it is not easy to clean and the rather flat bottom tends to hold crumbs unless you push them to the drain. The sink is beautiful, but not practical.
IKEA has just released the BREDSKÄR, another affordable option at $249.
Lovely selection. That Moen might not be the sexiest but it works oh so well.
The Ticor SS3510 Undermount 16-Gauge Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink is much more affordable than the majority you mention. It is well rated, has a sound dampening system and comes in single bowl sizes. I love it as it accommodates my canning kettle easily, not to mention my myriad baking vessels.
