Studio Geiger Architecture is a New York City based Architecture and Design practice, founded by Liesl Geiger-Kincade. The firm’s work reflects Liesl’s knowledge and passion for materials, details and proportion in relation to each project. A balance of classic and modern sensibilities enables Studio Geiger Architecture to create spaces that are timeless and exciting. In addition wherever possible the firm likes to think local, sustainable and natural.
Liesl earned her Masters of Architecture as well as her Bachelor of Arts from Yale, and afterwards was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study glass, light and the work of Alvar Aalto. Prior to forming her own practice in 2003, she worked with James Carpenter Design Associates and Robert A.M. Stern Architects. Liesl’s most recent book entitled The Essence of Home: Timeless Elements of Design was published by The Monacelli Press.
